Provided by YP.comWalked into this store on a Wednesday morning about 10:30. There were about 8 associates in the store and about 5 customers as far as I could see. A few of the associates were having a really nice conversation about a personal issue, seemed bothered that we asked them where a replacement item for a water back-pack pack would be located. They pointed in the area where we could find it. Well as there were unpacked boxes and items everywhere and inventory so close together that it was hard to think, we could not find what we were looking for and went back to the counter for additional assistance, politely waiting, to ask for assistance until they were forced to acknowledge our presence. We asked for assistance again, they pointed again, I had to ask if they might "find a moment" to come on the floor and assist us. After looks between the associates, one reluctantly agreed to help. He could not find the item either due to the clutter or lack of inventory. I asked if they had an inventory system to see if the item was in one of the unopened boxes close to the area where we were looking. He said, "no they could not do that".
OK. This is a BAD economy. Stores are closing all the time. Wouldn't you think that if you have more associates to customers that if you did have a customer you would help them? Am I crazy? I have had it with bad service. I employee you to also add your comments so that we can support the business that are helpful. REI about 10 minutes away greeted us when we walked through the door pointed us in the right direction, asked if they could walk us to the area and when we checked out asked if we found everything ok. Was that so hard? No, I don't think so.
Just say NO to bad service, report it, twitter, it and yelp it!!
