The quality of the braids are good, but the service can be greatly improved. I took my daughter to get her hair braided for school. We had a scheduled appointment for cornrows. When we arrived we were asked to come back . It turns out that a walk in was more of a priority for the hair braider because her hairstyle cost more. I have been a loyal customer for over 4 years and the customer service seems to be dwindling. The last time I got my hair braided I was quoted 1 price and charged another upon completion. I will not be going back.

I would like to second that. I am so glad that Mimi's has new management! I came before and was past bothered at my experience. I went recently on a prayer and a recommendation from a friend who said it had changed and love my hair. Amy hooked me up and I will be going back. Thank God for your mom.
