Stopped in on Christmas day about 5 pm, there was a buffet going on: turkey, ham, crab cakes pasta salad, sweet tater biscuits ect ect. A real treat!, Rita would not accept payment for the meal, so I slipped a 20 and asked her to put it toward the light bill, and keep on doing what she does best. Great meal, oh I forgot to mention the Smith Island cake, banana and chocolate, yum!! Mike H. from Delmar, De.

Not only is the food unedible, but the owner/hostess needs a lesson in customer service and maybe a week of ediquite classes.

All I can say is DISCUSTING! Do not order the chicken parmesan. It came out with week old dried out chopped up chicken over the spaghetti noodles with a mistery meat sauce over it. It was actually degrading to be served such food!

I heard this restaurant on Rt 13 had reopened, now called "Rita's" so I called and ordered breakfast for the wife and I. This was on a Sunday morning and they were about half full or less. The "bacon" omelet had no discernable bacon in it and was burnt to rubber on the edges. The rye toast was so hard (like stale bread, toasted), I took one bite and then gave it to my dog. I took it away from her when I saw she could not bite it, I was afraid she might break a tooth off! My omelet was supposed to come with home fries, but did not. When I went back in to point that out, the lady told me; "oh, they always forget to put those in, next time ask!" (yes, I am serious, she really said that...) Although I asked them to make the wife's bacon soft, it was burnt to a crisp. The pancakes were slightly burnt and came without syrup. I've had better food in a Army chow hall. I would give it no stars if I could.
