In 1974 we bought an old historic farm house. It was in need of major repairs, but the most urgent was a new roof. The old roof was deteriorated peach bottom slate. It needed to be replaced with a cedar shake roof which was more in keeping with the period of the house. A local contractor who did the renovations of the house did the roof. Nearly 35 years later it was falling apart. Squirrels were chewing holes in it. Diversified Exteriors was recommended to us by our son in law, Anthony Beiler, General Manager of the Beiler-Campbell Real Estate Company.
