Dr. Nielson and Dr. Struhs work together as a team to provide their patients with the very best orthodontic care available. They have been creating beautiful smiles in Parker, Colorado since 2004. Dr. Nielson received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Creighton University. In addition, he earned his Masters and Orthodontics Certificate at the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Nielson has been practicing since 1990. Besides his practices he also participates in several annual school fund raisers and does several demonstrations and lectures about dentistry and oral health for the schools. Dr. Nielson is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Colorado Dental Association and Metro Denver Dental Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Nielson is active in the community and enjoys playing golf and traveling with his family. He is married for 28 years now, and enjoys spending time with his wife, five children, 3 grandchildren, 2 son-in-laws and a daughter-in-law! Dr. Ted Struhs, DDS, MS earned his Bachelors degree at Colorado State University, and earned his dental degree and Orthodontics Certificate at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Struhs lectures at schools and youth organizations about dentistry and oral health. Dr. Struhs is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Colorado Dental Association and the Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists. In addition, Dr. Struhs has completed his Board Certification by the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Struhs is active in the community and supports many local fundraising efforts. He is married and enjoys spending leisure time with his family.
