Nurses either leave your loved ones in their rooms unattended for long periods, rarely checking on them, OR they force them to sit together in the common areas where they can keep an eye on them because it's more convenient for the nurses. Mom was there after radiation, which causes severe fatigue. They woke her at 5:30a to take meds, then again at 7a for breakfast. Made her stay up until physical therapy, then sit in a chair until lunch. After lunch, just as she's falling asleep, they come in to draw blood. Then speech therapy, followed by occupational therapy, then dinner, more meds, etc. She's exhausted. They have no compassion. And when you ask them about it, they cite regs saying it's within the law. Needless to say, we moved her, but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Neighbor later told us it took 3 days to notify her that her husband passed away.
