Think twice before you pursue a legal relationship with Jennifer Gibo., I should have this to begin with and actually had an appointment with another attorney the day after I met with Jennifer Gibo. However, I decided to go ahead and use Jennifer due to the day of our meeting I gave her all my files so she could get a better understanding on the case. I am so completely pissed at her non-responsive emails or phone calls. She did absolutely nothing as for leg work on my case. I gave her all my research and discovery files on my case to which she was to get copies and I have yet to receive my originals back. She did not prep us for court, she did not do anything. I should have known. The day of our initial meeting she was 45 minutes late and stated that my appointment was at 4:30 to which it was NOT! It was at 3:45.



Its my fault. In any case, she did absolutely nothing, she even filed motions and filings that NEVER needed to be filed and then when I asked her about a few things she was filing she had to ask me a few things about my case. THAT TOLD ME SHE never ever even read my file, nor cared enough to take heed to any of the information in my files so she could be in on the know. It was horrible and it pissed me off when she did finally answer one of my many phone calls and she says, I was just about to pick up the phone to call you.



Here it is a month out, I still do not have my final orders to read so that I can approve them in order to get the judge to sign them and close the case. To which this has now delayed my child support from being paid to me due to my ex is a horrible liar and uses every excuse as to why not to pay.



I have now called her office 3 times and emailed her 2 since our hearing on the 22nd of February and have yet to hear anything back from her. If I do not get a response back by the end of the month I am filing a grievance against her and her firm and the poor representation she gave to me.



UPDATE: To no avail, I filed a grievance.



Do not give her one red cent! find another attorney that knows the law in Texas and is well known in Lamar County. I am only giving her a star due to I have to in order for this to post.

Jennifer Gibo is an outstanding attorney. She is knowledgable in every aspect of the law she practices and can get the job done. She has stood toe to toe with other intimidating attorneys and never backed down. She is someone I trust my life with and I owe her a million thanks for all the work she did for me and my family. If you are in need of an attorney, don't hesitate to call Jennifer Gibo. She will get the job done right.

I would highly recommend Jennifer Gibo. She is not only attentive, she is fierce in fighting for her clients. She is the only attorney I will use or recommend. She made sure that I was well prepared, even down to what I should wear to court and what I could expect the other attorney to say/ask.

You need to go to someone else, because we used her for my sisters case, and she didnt do anything. She wouldnt answer or return phone calls, her office failed to inform us of court dates. She also didnt prep any of us for the stand (witch is something every lawyer should do, no matter what the case). She showed up late to everything, weather is was a meeting or the actual court day that decided eveything. I wouldnt advice anyone to use her. She isnt a very respecfull person, nor does she seem to care about the situation. It seems like all she wants in your money then it doesnt matter what happends to you. (the only reason i gave her a star at all, is because it wouldnt let me post this without doing so)
