CROSSFIRE was formed by D.J. Gomes in 1999 under the name "Butte Creek Wood Products" as a firewood company. The opportunity to become a licensed tree service and fire prevention contractor for the Firesafe Council of Butte County arose in 2005 and the business was expanded at that time. Because we continued to grow in this area. CROSSFIRE was officially created as a second division to our business. However, under the name "Butte Creek Wood Products", we have performed fire prevention and tree services on thousands of acres including large roadside hazardous fuel reduction, shaded fuel breaks, and tree services for homes, municipalities, and large apartment complexes.
