Tara Heights Elementary School serves more than 400 students in grades kindergarten through six. The student-teacher ratio in the school is 15-to-1. Its curriculum includes spelling, guided reading and writing, language arts, foreign language, math, science and social studies. Kids Club, sponsored by the Papillion-La Vista Foundation, is a service offered before and after school. Summer programs are also offered with activities, such as field trips, swimming, excursions and picnics. Based in Papillion, Neb., the school is a part of the Papillion-La Vista Public Schools.
