Provided by YPmobileWe had our wedding reception here in March 2014. We selected this venue because it was more reasonably priced than some other places locally, though still $20+ per attendant. Prior to the event the owner was nice, but sometimes difficult to get ahold of. Lots of phone tag. All decorations and setup of food went well, but the day of the ceremony wasnt great. The cake cutter we paid extra for was not present when we went to cut it, neither was the cake knife, so we stood awkwardly waiting while our friends and family stood around us. The cake topper we had special ordered was broken prior to the reception beginning, an honest mistake by the staff. The cake topper ended up being lost or thrown away by the staff and we did not get this keepsake back. Also, the owner left during the event which is fine, but she was our point of contact for the event and we didnt know the other staff she left behind. Servers for drink refills were very under dressed (baggy untailored slacks and a plaid shirt). At the end of the event all of the leftover food was not packaged to take home for our family who brought our things home after our departure for our honeymoon. After the event the owner became more difficult to get in touch with. Our decorations were picked up, but some of our artificial flowers were missing. We had to go back and ask about the additional flowers, which were being used as decorations for someone elses event. As a whole this venue was more affordable than a few other places, but the attitude of the owner was unacceptable. No effort to replace the cake topper they lost. We were told "if the cake topper was that important, you should have assigned someone to take it home for you." We certainly did not expect it to be broken and trashed, there was no plan for that. No apologies. We would not recommend this business.

Provided by YP.comWe attended a Quincenera at the White Room in November 2010. The hall was decorated nicely, the food was good, and the waitstaff was awesome. I recommend this place to anyone having an event. As a matter of fact we are celebrating my 40th birthday at the White Room this year.

Provided by YP.comThis is a lovely reception hall! They hosted my son's wedding this year, and they did all they could to help us out with suggestions, and when we had a major "meltdown" they did everything they could to help us. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated in good taste. The food was warm and tasted good. Not only did they keep the water and tea glasses full, but the never ending punch fountain was flowing all night. We had a couple of dietary special requests and they were handled without any fuss, bother or any extra charge. We even had some people show up early and rather than make them wait outside in the heat, they allowed them to go on in. My daughter is planning on having a Sweet 16 party next year and we will absolutly keep this place in mind.

My husbands daughter had her wedding reception there 5/17/2008. There were several issues I had over the course of the evening. First being that I, kept having to search down someone to refill water and teaclasses. The wait staff, was gathered and visiting by the restrooms and not really attentive to the guests. I have to inform the wait staff to refill the punch bowl, just before the cake's were being cut as it was completely empty, again they were all gathered around the restrooms, just visiting with each other, and not checking on things like that. We paid the additional $35.00 to have the cake cut and our DJ had to assist that person in cutting the cake as they had never cut a cake before. The brides mother and myself met seperately and paid seperately, both of us were told by the owner/manager that any additional food left over will be sent home with us, as we purchsed 20-25 more plates than we had RSVP guests for. After everyone had eaten, I fixed the photographer, a "friend" of mine a plate and there was quite a bit of hot plate food and sandwiches left over. We were first told that nothing was left over, we were then given our remaining fruit & vegatables, and one item of the hot plate food, and the manager informed me "it was in the contract" Well read that carefully, as the only thing I saw pertaining to the food was alcohol service. Our cost was so much for the reception area that night & approx $20.00 per person for catering plus Tax & 20% gratuity and honestly I've received much better service from McDonalds! I also attend a lot of catered corporate functions and having that exposure I was very disapointed in the service and misrepresentation. I will never recommend nor arrange another function there, do not care how much less it is than other facilities
