- VeneersDr. Kono has been a member of the Palo Alto Dental Group since 1998. He embraces innovative dental techniques, and seeks to exceed his patients’ expectations for care and service. Dr. Kono was born in Viet Nam and moved to New Hampshire in 1973. He graduated from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas and the Loyola University School of Dentistry in Chicago. He completed a General Practice Residency with the U.S. Navy at Naval Hospital Oakland. Dr. Kono served as head of the dental department aboard the USS Bellau Wood, stationed in Sasebo, Japan, and completed his active duty status at the Naval Air Station in Key West, Florida. He is trained and certified in the Plasma-Arc teeth whitening system and the placement of Lumineer prepless porcelain veneers. He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the California Dental... Association (CDA), the Peninsula Institute of Advanced Dental Studies (PIADS), and the Baja Medical/Dental Study Club, and a past member of the Seattle Study Club (SSC) and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI.)
- Restorative DentistryDr. Iverson received his degree in medical dentistry from Oregon Health Sciences University, where he was honored to deliver the valedictory speech for his graduating class. Following graduation, he completed a residency in General Practice at Naval Hospital Oakland, then served three years in the U.S. Navy with the Naval Support Forces Antarctica. A native of Palo Alto, Dr. Iverson was pleased to return to the area in 1994 to join the Palo Alto Dental Group. Committed to advancing his skills in preventative and restorative dentistry, Dr. Iverson has completed a two-year course in Advanced Restorative Dentistry at the Foundation for Advanced Continuing Education (F.A.C.E), and three years of study at the Orognathic Bioesthetics, Incorporated (OBI) Foundation for Bioesthetic Dentistry.

- Maxillofacial SurgeryDr. Vanzina received her degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia, with a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Following graduation, she served with the National Armed Forces Hospital in Bogotá while maintaining a private practice. She is an accomplished researcher as well as a clinician, and has published research on non-invasive surgical techniques. She moved to the Bay Area in 1997 and has been part of the Palo Alto Dental Group since 2004. Her patients often express their appreciation of her warm, attentive manner. She is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the California Dental Association (CDA), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the Mid-Peninsula Dental Society (MPDS), and the Peninsula Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (PIADS).

- General DentistryDr. Bahl joined the Palo Alto Dental Group in 2001. Her philosophy is to deliver high quality conservative care with sincerity and kindness. She welcomes patients of all ages and her greatest joy comes from creating a personal connection with them. Many multigeneration families are a part of her practice. Dr. Bahl received her dental degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, graduating at the top of her class. After Graduation, she completed a two year program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at University of California San Francisco. A committed clinician, Dr. Bahl has published research on oral medicine for the Journal of the American Dental Association. She is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA) and the Mid-Peninsula Dental Society(MPDS), and a participant in... the Peninsula institute for Advanced Dental Studies(PIADS). She attends several study clubs and workshops to stay abreast with recent advancements and brings them to her patients. Dr. Bahl and her family are settled in Palo Alto and she enjoys being a part of the community she practices in.
