Provided by YP.comI am writing this review because I am a loyal customer to Classic Impressions. I was actually in the shop when all this occured and as a parent I must say that your child really screwed up her hair, but the cut was performed by the stylist was wonderful. It was my first negative customer experience at that salon ever. Given the fact that you just walked right in and demanded that her hair be fixed, while the salon was jam packed with customers was rude. You should be ashamed of your attitude. The stylist worked you in, in-between a color which was me and another customer. If you know anything about color, you know it has to be washed off at a specific time or it will continue to change the color of your hair. I waited 15 minutes longer to be rinsed but love the new color that resulted from your rudness. As a matter of fact I had my hair cut just like your daughter's haircut and have had more positive complements. I guess that means I should thank you for stupidly leaving the scissors where your three year old could get to them.
I have been a customer of the stylist in question for 10 years and have never heard a bad word said about her. I even followed her to a new shop that is an hour and a half from my home because she is that good! The owner of the store goes out of her way to make everyone feel like they are family. I will never go to another salon, this one is heaven.

Provided by YP.comI will never again enter this place!
I called them for help with my 3 year old who chopped off a big chunk of her hair. The hairstylist that was recommended to us by a friend was unavailable, but the one they offered they reassured me was just as qualified and just as experienced with children. I knew I was going to be disappointed seeing all of that long blond hair go, and that it was going to take time to get used to the new look, but for that I was prepared. There was simply no way around it. But I was not prepared for the uneven haircut she received, where the side she did not touch is now SHORTER by 1/2 inch than the side she ruined herself. I was not prepared for the uneven ends all around... And I will not even get into the customer service! At the end I asked for a little bit of layering so that it would not look so chopped off - a request left unfulfilled. I took my child out looking as if her older sister tried to fix it for her. I paid the bill, and even handed a $5 tip to the hairstylist, and left knowing very well that I will never come back to that place.
After reviewing it all the next day, I called the salon asking to talk to the owner. I introduced myself and said that I wanted to talk to her about the haircut my child received the day before, which I found unacceptable, upon which I was told that I need to find myself another salon. She then added: "You brought your child here. She was the one that cut her own hair. It was your problem. We tried to help you; you did not like what we did. We did our best. You need to find another salon." After I agreed with the need for another salon, and reassured her that I already took care of that, she interrupted me and said "Great, then we have nothing else to talk about" - and she hung up on me!
Our conversation took less than a minute. I never got a chance to say anything else about the service we received beside my initial statement that it was 'unacceptable' -- and I sure stick by it.
Judge for yourself. Would you recommend them to a friend?
