We went to the PH for the first time this past weekend. There was one empty table in the bar area that was clean, and the four of us sat down to watch the Pocono 500, and eat wings. Five minutes later, we were asked to move because the table we had sat at was meant for parties of five or more. We couldn't believe we were asked to move after having to wait for a table to be cleaned. We moved----to a different restaurant.

Just came back from the hotel. Not the first time we had crappy service there but my god. we asked twice for extra napkins with our wings and finally got them right before our bill showed up while my wife's napkin was in shreds. Once the game started you wouldn't see someone out front for at least 15 minutes at a time. No one once asked how our meal was. We love the food but the service has sucked for years and is only getting worse with each new hire. Did anyone ever heard of WORKING for a living, it's not a place just hang out with your friends while getting paid for it.

The Palmerton Hotel not only offers a variety of delicious food, the staff is wonderful. I often go to the Palmerton Hotel for its "family" like atmosphere. There has never been a disappointing meal. Please...try it. You will not be disappointed.

The food was bad and way overpriced, service.....ha. looks to me like someone bought a big old building and thinks people will drop off their money just because its "under new ownership" nothing has changed in or around that place in years.. sad sad attempt at calling yourself a restaurant.
