- Fish Reproductions: Catch a fish, take a picture and a couple measurements and let him go! We will create an exact replica for your trophy. Fish Skin Mounts: If you prefer, bring us your catch and we will do the rest! Carvings: If you are looking for something different and truly unique, I can create from wood, rustic fish decoys, native style carvings or life-like hand carved replicas. Big/Small Game: Although I specialize in fish, I've been trained in all other aspects of taxidermy work. Let us know what you have and we'll give you a quote.
General Info
Since 1961 I have been going on fishing and hunting expeditions with my family. You can see through our photos that we carry on that tradition today. As an avid outdoorsman I decided to learn taxidermy in the late 1980's by attending an accredited taxidermy school in my home state of Pennsylvania. I tested for and received my taxidermy license in Pennsylvania and worked at it part-time. I won awards for some of the very first fish I mounted. It was then that I developed a passion for fish taxidermy and even today remain amazed at the vivid brilliance and beauty of the fish we catch. Several years later I moved west to Wyoming to enjoy the great outdoors of the Rocky Mountains. I became a licensed Taxidermist there as well. In July of 2011 I realized my lifelong dream of moving to Alaska. Although I have been a licensed assistant big game guide here for many seasons and visited many times, I am happy to make Alaska my permanent home and place of business.
