John and his son did a very good job. Even though Johns Price was well under every other quote that I received by $50-$200 the quality of his work was well worth the five star rating. Even when he noticed that he had brought cable for a 7' door and mine was an 8' door, he went out and purchased the better and longer cable out of his own pocket. His customer service, knowledge and quality of work is all very much thumbs up.

I had another bid to compare with A - Plus Garage Doors. The price from A - Plus was more competitive for the exact same job. He [John] replaced the necessary items that were worn and dramatically improved the overall performance of the roll-up door without having to replace the entire unit. If fact, I don't think the original door worked as well as it did after the repair. Great job, great price and very easy to work with. When I need a new unit in the future, John will be the one installing it.

John was attentive to the repairs and the door being perfect. I appreciate his devotion to upgrading the cables and springs and making sure that they worked as they are suppose to. He even changed the initial set of springs he put because they were too tight. Most important is that I would not have known, he is sincere in wanting the best job done at a fair price. The garage door works better than when the opener was installed a few years ago. Great guy, would use him again!

A-plus garage door is a gem in Lancaster area. The owner is one of the honest people I have ever met. If you want to be treated like your family and someone to tell you the truth then hire them.
