On May 4, 2010, My fiance picked up her 2003 Ford Sport-trac from having the oil changed. Upon arrival the manager Randy, informed her that they would no longer exept coupons from her. The coupon was for oil, lube, and filter with free preventative maintenance check for $18.99.



When she questioned the reason, he told her that because she didn't except any of thier recommended services that they would not honor the coupon. He said that she was obviously getting it done some where else. She told him that I would take care of it at home. He then told her she should save herself the $20 and have me change the oil too, if I knew how to do that.



I am an aircraft technician by trade so it is true that we don't except thier services when they are trying to upsale us. However we have bought tires, batteries, ect. from that store. I called this guy to try to let him know that we have been loyal customers for more than 7 years. He said it had been 5 years since she bought tires and that he would not debate it with me and hung up on me.



Since we are not married yet we have two separate accounts and I also had bought tires from that store and we have a car right now that needs tires. But guess where we won't be purchasing from.



As I've been telling other people about my experience, I have found 3 people with similar stories about this same manager. I only know his first name but the other people know him as Randy Haas.



I've never been so insulted as a customer, and the rudeness and arrogance of this guy to just dismiss our business and tell us he didn't need it is astonishing.



We can get a $36 oil change anywhere and not have to leave the car for a day.
