I have come twice with my mom to bring our older domestic short hair male cat to see the emergency doctors about caring for a tumor-related abscess. They have both times treated us kindly and have helped us with affording care costs as well as with providing our cat some at least temporary comfort for his situation. The doctors are friendly, compassionate and knowledgeable and the tech staff is courteous and caring as well. We recommend that anyone who has an after-hours emergency come to this office as I know they will do whatever in their power to help not only pets but people. I find it hard to believe any negative reviews about this office, the care received here or the ability or demeanor of the staff or doctors. Some people just like to complain and can't be bothered to see the errors in their own actions. Thank you for your help!
In response to LD's abusive review to Animal Emergency I feel it is my duty as the certified technician who was working the evening these clients FINALLY decided to treat Zoee to state the facts. First, these clients are "Internet educated". They have no business stating that we misdiagnosed Zoee. Second, they came in for an office visit and refused proper treatment and diagnostics just to go home and continue their own research to "play doctor" on their own. After numerous phone calls and a doctor follow up call they finally brought poor Zoee back in who could hardly stand at that point. This was more than 12 hours after their initial visit. Unfortunately, this poor dog had multiple organ failure by the time the owners approved blood work and hospitalization. Despite our hard working efforts to do all we could for her, she just didn't respond to treatment. I sat up with her all night long and am extremely insulted by these irresponsible people who feel they have the right to slander.
Dr. Divita was extremely helpful when my Golden was attacked by a pitt bull. She took excellent care and explained everything to me in plain english. Also it didn't break the bank any more than a trip to a normal vet would.
Great staff, great price! I volunteer for the mastiff rescue in FL. One of my foster dog was having bleeding from his surgery. I was worried and brought him in. I found the exam fee much less then the 3 other Emergency Vets that I called for a quote. About half the price. I liked the DR too.Would go back.
Our cat recently couldnot urinate and was in great pain on a weekend. We took Abe to Animal Emergency. The staff was great and the doctor immediately diagnosed an obstruction and his pain was relieved right away. we've also taken several of our dogs when they've had problems when our regular vet was closed. They're always very professional. I feel like their fees are reasonable, like my regular vet.
