Been there forever; family has six locations. CASH ONLY operation. Typically open even on major Government/Christian/Jewish holidays. Doughnuts are mediocre on a good day. Tend to be overcooked, but aren't expensive, so nobody gripes. Coffee is good, but creamer isn't choice. Luckily, they have a small cooler in corner with assorted bottled (commercial) beverages to compensate for the otherwise limited options that often accompany a small shop like this. Staff is friendly. Locals sit on patio and keep cups at shop. Parking on north side a hassle due to the local gardeners gathering with large work vehicles at a Mexican meat market a few doors down-use the east side lot near Office Max.CS, Palm Desert
