- SinusitisAcute sinusitis typically lasts a short period of time, four weeks or less. An acute infection is usually part of a cold or other respiratory illness and medications are generally effective in stopping the infection.
- Pediatric CareAccording to the American Academy of Pediatrics, the average child has about 8 to ten colds in the first several years of her life.
- Primary CareIf your MedExpress provider diagnoses you with chronic bronchitis, he or she will help you to coordinate care for this ongoing condition. You will likely need to create a treatment plan with your primary care physician or a specialist, such as pulmonologist, to help you slow the progression of the disease. Often, those with chronic bronchitis will take part in pulmonary rehabilitation, as directed by their doctors.
- Ear InfectionsYou see your child pulling at her ear and she doesn’t seem to be responding to sounds. These signs are a couple of the symptoms of an ear infection, a condition that is common in young children.

- Irritable Bowel SyndromeGI diseases may also include more chronic diagnoses, such as Crohn’s disease, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), celiac disease, ulcerative colitis, inflammatory bowel disease, or liver disease, and may require long-term, speciality treatment to maintain functional gastrointestinal health.
- ElectrocardiogramTo help with diagnosing and treating illnesses during your visit to MedExpress, we can offer laboratory services, intravenous fluids (IVs), and electrocardiograms (EKGs) – if deemed necessary by our medical team.

- ImmunizationsDepending on the severity of a cut, stitches or staples may be required to stop the bleeding and help the healing process. After cleansing and exploring the wound, your MedExpress medical team may numb the area and apply stitches by carefully threading sutures from one end of the wound to the other. If appropriate, MedExpress may also use Dermabond – a tissue adhesive – to fuse the edges of the wound together. Depending on the nature of the wound and the patient's vaccination status, a tetanus vaccination may be necessary.
- Gynecology
- Pelvic Pain
- PregnancyMedExpress does not provide routine gynecological or OB care, which includes conducting ultrasounds and prescribing birth control. However, we can conduct pregnancy testing after a medical evaluation and provide medical treatment to pregnant women who are being seen for a minor illness or injury.
- Kidney StonesYour MedExpress neighborhood medical team includes full-time radiologic technologists, who can quickly diagnose a range of conditions – from broken bones to kidney stones.
- Urinary Tract InfectionA urinary tract infection – or UTI – can be an uncomfortable and annoying experience. At MedExpress, our onsite labs mean we can quickly diagnose and treat your UTI so you can feel better fast.
- Mental HealthIf you’ve visited us as a patient, MedExpress can help make a mental health referral for new symptoms, but we also encourage you to reach out to community resources. If you have insurance, the 1-800 number on the back of your card will connect you with someone who can help with in-network referrals.

- FrostbiteProtecting any newly burned areas from exposure to cold, because burned skin can more easily develop frostbite.
- EczemaThere are a number of skin conditions that can cause dry, painful, itchy skin, and blisters, rashes, or sores. Some common conditions we treat include cellulitis, eczema, impetigo, poison ivy/oak/sumac, ringworm, and shingles.
- FungusMost of the time pneumonia is caused by a bacterial infection, but it can also be caused by a virus, fungus, or parasite. The infection causes inflammation in the lungs and causes the air sacs within the lungs – the alveoli – to fill with fluid or mucus. This fluid makes it difficult to breathe and limits the amount of oxygen the lungs can take in.
