AS a childbirth educator and mother to SIX CHILDREN. . . . . . . . . . . . I have a passion to encourage and empower women with the knowledge and tools to make educated choices during pregnancy and birth this passion for birth began for ME AT a very young AGE. AS I began to birth MY OWN children. I became transformed by MY OWN ability to birth normally and naturally. MY desire in helping other women experience the same was the driving force which LED ME to becoming a DOULA. I know firsthand what a wonderful experience and a challenge having a baby and motherhood CAN BE. The need for gentle. Compassionate support that respects a mother’s choice is essential. I have HAD a variety of birth experiences of MY OWN which I believe equips ME to serve MY clients with compassion and understanding. AS a practicing DOULA for 10 years. I have assisted close to a hundred births in an array of settings including hospitals and AT home. With natural AS well AS medicated births. With cesarean births and VBACS and with women WHO have experienced stillbirth. I AM a dona trained DOULA, a certified newborn massage instructor and a certified childbirth educator.
