Provided by YP.comI've been a customer since 2005. I feel very comfortable in this store. Susan is very bright, warm and knowledgeable. Since the first time I walked in through the Pink Door (and it is pink!) I felt as though someone had invited me into their home. One time, my mom was in town and Susan fitted her for a bra. My mom was very pleased, she had been wearing the wrong size for years. Susan is very easy to talk to especially when you have a lot of questions about intimate supplies. Cancer is hard enough with all of the decisions you need to make, this should be an easy one.

I am sorry to hear that a previous person had a bad experience with The Pink Door. I'd be willing to guess it was some kind of misunderstanding, and this person was one of those people you just can't please no matter how hard you try. Susan at The Pink Door is wonderful!!! She opened this store because a close friend had brst cancer and a double mastectomy. Her friend drove over an hour to the only location within a several mile radius for prosthetic brsts, and had a horrible experience with customer service and limited selection. She opened this store for her friend, and people like her, to have a local place to go with a warm, comforting atmosphere, good customer service, and good selection of brst cancer items and supplies. I can't imagine that she would want anyone to have a bad experience in her store, as her friend did in an out of town store. I personally do not shop at The Pink Door due to brst cancer. Susan realized a need for larger sized bras for large brsted women, and expanded her collection to offer these services / supplies. As a very modest female in my late 20's with large brsts, I was at the end of the rope when it came to finding a bra that fit and provided support. I saw an Oprah show about women wearing the wrong bra size, and the need for a proper fitting with larger cup sizes found at places like Nordstrom’s. Great info, but where do people in a small town go for larger cup sizes? I frequently travel out of town to shop, but I don't even know where a Nordstrom’s is located! I heard The Pink Door carried large size bras, and skeptically went for help. Susan was able to fit me in my accurate bra size (which is not even available in department stores), and provided bras that actually supported me. I also have a newborn, and she was the only person able to provide a supportive nursing bra that actually fit. I have been a customer of The Pink Door for 3 years. Susan has always welcomed me into a warm, compassionate environment, respected my modesty, and provided excellent products that meet my needs. I tell everyone I know, that could benefit from her products and services, about The Pink Door and Susan.

Provided by YP.comThe Pink Door had not yet opened when I first had my surgery. It was very hard for me to find the time to go out of town to get fitted correctly for a Prosthesis. Susan offers such a wide range and seems to know which ones will work best for me. She makes an effort to have a variety of clothing and swimsuits in her store and will order any color or size that you need. She has always made me feel comfortable and managed to help me through what was a very emotional "fitting" following a failed reconstruction surgery. She recently introduced me to a new style of prosthesis on the market that has allowed me to wear sun dresses and t-shirts that I had been unable to wear since my surgery, helping me feel more normal and "pretty" again. It is my opinion that her goal is not to just make money but to make friends by helping her customers with a situation that they might not be comfortable discussing with many people. - And she also carries some great bras (not available many places) for women who might not need her "other services." Try the Pink Door. It a fun place to shop!

Provided by YP.comThe Pink Door is a fabulous local shop for women who have had the unpleasant experience of having had cancer. I went in to find out about a compression sleeve to fight the swelling from my lymphodema. The store had a ready made one in stock as opposed to having a custom-made one. In addition, I was fitted for new bras to compensate for my disparate sized bossoms. I couldn't have asked for better service. This shop is a local treasure. Much better than having to drive out of town.

Provided by YP.comI had a very bad expierence with the owner of the pink door. going through cancer and chemo is hard enough & choosing a place to buy your hats and wigs and bras isn't easy either but this place makes it an awful expierence.
As the owner of this business, it is sad to hear of an unsatisfactory experience. We endeavor to always do right by the customer. I am sorry she feels this way and I hope she will give us a second chance.
