Kavita Manchikanti, M.D. (Dr. Kavita) is an interventional pain management the physician practicing at the Pain Management Centers of Paducah, Kentucky and Marion, Illinois and the Ambulatory Surgery Center of Paducah, Kentucky and the Pain Care Surgery of Marion, Illinois encompassing multidisciplinary pain management programs. Dr. Kavita graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts from Washington University in St.Louis. She received her Doctorate of Medicine with distinction from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. She received her Fellowship in Pain Medicine and her Residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from the University of Kentucky Medical Center. Dr. Kavitas professional and committee memberships include American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, North American Neuromodulation Society, Medical Quality Improvement Committee (Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital), and Lexington Medical Society. Dr. Kavita has experience working at UK CCTS Professional Student Mentored Research Program, AmeriCorps, and the Pain Management Center. She has Honored for scoring greater than ninety percentile on the 2015 Self-Assessment Exam for PGY-4 Residents, Best Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation(PM&R) Resident Presentation, Academic Chief Resident for the Department of PM&R, and best Resident at Leestown Division, VA Medical Center Lexington. Dr. Kavita presented at a National Conference with a presentation titled A Retrospective Examination of Gait Changes Following Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy in Different Age Groups. She has attended multiple-national conferences in Interventional Pain Management.
