On June 27th my family, (myself, husband, & 2 sons) arrived in Paducah to visit friends who live there. We had a reservation and although it was morning we decided to stop at the motel to see if it was possible that they had a room for us. They didn't (which we certainly understood)and told us to call around noon. We went and visited our friends & waited. We called 2 or 3 times and was finally given a room (room 122) a hour or so after check in time. We then found a room that was filthy:cobwebs behind the door, dirty coffee pot, used coffee filter w/grounds, dirty shower, and a pen and a coin on the floor which indicated to me that the room had not been vacuumed properly. My husband told the maid about the coffee pot and that was cleaned. Although the cobwebs stayed w/us the whole time. A day or so later we also relized that the deadbolt lock wasn't catching all the way, not the best situation since them seem to rent to some questionable guest who do a lot of coming and going all hours
