Even with the current economic climate, I continue to go to Sylvia's. I have shopped around for lower prices, but the quality of the facials is not the same. The neat thing about Sylvia's Skin Studio is that its actually Sylvia providing the facial, not hired foreign help! Sylvia's is a small, but intimate skin studio/salon, very quiet and tranquil.What I really like about Sylvia is her personality!, She is super friendly, she lives here locally, and is someone who you can have a real conversation with. You know ladies, we have to talk during these sessions, it's better than our therapists!Sylvia is well worth her price and doesn't try to sell you products you don't want or need. I'm tired of going into salons and feel as though I am at a car dealer with all the sales pitches! That doesn't take place at Sylvia's.No long lines, or missed appointment times, she is always on schedule, which I appreciate.Thank you Sylvia and Sylvia's Skin Studio!!

I have been a longtime client of Sylvia's (over 10 years) and say without hesitation that she provides the best facials and waxing services. Her studio is located right in the Village, in a private intimate setting.For me, I don't have to travel to Beverly Hills and I receive a higher level of service right here in Pacific Palisades. Sylvia's has the latest equipment, including the machine with a diamond tip, plus when she waxes me, I don't hurt afterward. It's the type of product she uses.I've been to other skin care salons in Pacific Palisades and Beverly Hills, and Sylvia's hands-down is the best by far. Sylvia's is worth her price in gold....my skin reflects it!
