Gateway Center of Monterey County has been treating life skills to the developmentally disabled adults of Monterey County, Calif., since 1963. The center offers a school program for developmentally disabled children. It also provides adult day activity, workshop and supported employment programs. Gateway Center of Monterey County s residential program provides 24-hour care and supervision to clients. The center s Forest Hill group home offers support, counseling and independent living skill training. Its day programs help to develop work, recreational, advocacy and home life related skills. Gateway Center of Monterey County offers advocacy- and age-related health and emotional issues in community and classroom settings.
