Panhandle Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in Pace, Florida, provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with an addiction to prescription painkillers, heroin, or other opioids. MAT involves a combination of prescription medication and counseling to help adults work toward recovery from opioid addiction. Panhandle CTC provides adults with a prescription for methadone or buprenorphine to reduce the physical symptoms of opioid withdrawal.
