Endodontics

• Pulpotomy
  A pulpotomy is an endodontic treatment that is most often used on primary (“baby†) teeth. When decay or injury reaches the dental pulp (the innermost layer of the tooth), children often experience tooth pain and sensitivity. If not treated, the tooth could possibly abscess or eventually require extraction. In hopes to prevent this, our dentists may recommend a pulpotomy.
• Root Canal Treatment
  If need be, a tooth pulpotomy or “baby root canal’ procedure may allow for our dentists, Dr. Armand Begian and associates, to restore your child’s tooth and prevent or stop pain and infection. Pulpotomies may be recommended if your child has deep tooth decay.
