Rio Mesa High School, located in Oxnard, Calif., is a part of the Oxnard Union High School District. The student enrollment is more than 2,200 and it offers classes from grades nine through 12. The school offers an academic program that is designed for students who intend to continue their formal education beyond high school. The curricular includes various subjects, such as English, mathematics, social science, literature, science, biology, chemistry, American history, United States government and politics, health and physical education, music and art. It provides career and technical education programs that prepare students for careers by teaching core technical proficiencies and employability skills.
