Oxnard High School, also known as OHS, is an educational institution that serves more than 3,000 students in grades 9 through 12. Established in 1901, it offers classes in English, social studies, science and math. The school also provides special education programs for gifted and talented students. Oxnard High School operates art, computer, film, French and Spanish clubs. The school also offers membership opportunities in the National Honor Society. Its extracurricular activities include choir, band and drama. In addition, Oxnard High School features a library and media center, as well as computer laboratories and gymnasiums. The school organizes various athletic activities that include football, cross-country, golf, tennis and volleyball. Oxnard High School provides guidance counseling services. It operates a parent-teacher-student association. The school is a part of the Oxnard Union High School District.
