Mr. Limegrover's therapeutic approach to counseling is based on brief counseling, strength-based counseling, and cognitive-behavioral counseling theories. By using one of the theories and services, he attempts to help clients identify and develop plans to address issues, thoughts, or emotions that may interfere with their functioning. Delivery of services may include individual counseling, couples counseling, family counseling, consulting, coordination, and/or referral. Mr. Limegrover provides drug and alcohol counseling, alcohol and drug assessments, couples counseling, sport performance enhancement, depression screenings, anxiety screenings, and attention problem evaluations. Eric can also provide supervision in these general areas. Mr. Limegrover also has experience treating the following areas: career counseling, career assessment, adolescent counseling, personal counseling, gerontological counseling, marriage counseling, family counseling, anger management, eating disorder, body image issues, sport performance enhancement, mental health counseling, chemical dependency counseling, addictions counseling, consultation, supervision, administration, independent diagnosis and treatment of mental and emotional disorders, and training supervision to individuals seeking licensure as professional clinical counselors and work supervision to Professional Counselors.

General Info

Mr. Limegrover is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Approved Clinical Supervisor. Mr. Limegrover has training and experience in individual, group, and family counseling. He helps clients gain insight and coping, improve communication, relationship issues, as well as manage work and family issues. He speaks openly and gives honest feedback. His training and experience includes clients in age ranges from adolescence to adulthood primarily with normal situational and developmental issues. He has worked in school settings, community mental health, private practice and university based counseling centers. He is a member of the American Psychological Association. He holds a M.A. in Counseling and a M.S. in Sport Psychology from West Virginia University. He is also receiving his Doctorate of Philosophy from West Virginia University.
