West Oxford Elementary School was established in 1976 and is located in Oxford, N.C. It serves more than 550 students every year from prekindergarten through grade first. The school offers a wide range of academic subjects, such as reading, writing, basic skills, English, math, science, social studies, spelling and vocabulary, music, health and physical education. The school has a parent-teacher association that works in partnership with school s principal and staff, as well as the community-at-large to provide programs and services that enhance the educational environment for all children. West Oxford Elementary School is a part of the Granville County Schools that also operates high schools, middle schools, an intermediate school and elementary schools.
