On 01 /23/2019 I dropped my car off for new rear brakes and oil and filter change, because a friend recommended them to me. When I went to pick up the car, I noticed that the Oil and Filter job was not performed, and was told they forgot. I was told to bring the car in on the following Saturday at 8:00 AM. When I got home, I tried using my parking break and it would not hold, the car slid down my driveway, (this was not a problem before). I immediately called Reggie and told them about the problem with the parking brake, and was told that they would adjust it when I came in on Saturday. I arrived at Reggies at 7:55AM, door was locked, no lights were on, so I waited 15 minutes and still no one showed. At this point I just did not trust going back there for an adjustment or anything else. I called another service station and had them perform the work. (By the way, the adjustment can not be done unless the wheels are removed, and the problem was that the brake pads were not properly adjusted). After I picked up my car I went to Reggies and informed them that I was at their location on Saturday and no one was there, that I had waited an additional 15 minutes, tried the door and it was locked, and that there were no lights on. I was told they were there, so I guess they must do their work in the dark. At this point I no longer cared to talk with a person that would openly lie to my face. What really ticked me off was the comment that was made, that people make mistakes, that is why they have erasers on pencils. Mistakes that can be written and erased on paper is one thing, but making a mistake when working on a car that could result in an accident or worse is not tolerable. That was my first and last visit to Reggies. I cannot recommend anyone go to their location for service.
