I was told that I would be paid $12/hr. and was only paid $11/hr. My rep. at the staffing agency told me that it would be correct in a few days. I was paid weekly and every week my paycheck pay rate was incorrect. I called every week to inquire when my pay rate would be fixed; either I was told that it was being corrected or I had to leave a voicemail message. 4 weeks later my pay rate still was not corrected. I went to Adecco and my rep. told me that there is a long process for changing a pay rate. She continued to tell me that a $1 difference in pay isn't much money and not to ask for my pay rate to be corrected. I have knowledge on how payroll is done, a AS degree in Accounting, and I know that it doesn't take 4 weeks to change a pay rate! I contacted Adecco Owner, Don, and told him what happened and he told me that I would have another pay check of the $1 difference pay rate the next day. This check was over $400.
