AmeriSys, formerly known as ERS, is a national managed care organization. Founded in 1985, it serves self-insured employers, insurance carriers, service companies and other medical management entities. The organization provides a variety of utilization review and group health services. AmeriSys also offers vocational evaluation, ergonomic job analysis, and medical and catastrophic case management solutions. Its software, Corrus 97, provides case coordination and medical bill review solutions. The organization is certified by the American Association of Healthcare Consultants. AmeriSys offers a national network of on-site case managers that comprises independent business operators. It additionally provides initial evaluation and re-employment assessment solutions. The organization handles cases related to head, brain, spinal cord, eye, visceral and hand injuries.
