Opened in 1996, Morse Elementary School enrolls students in kindergarten through grade five and offers classes in various core subject areas, such as math, English, science and social studies. In addition, the school provides reading intervention, speech and language services, art, physical education and a vocal music classes. The elementary school has a parent-teacher organization that provides financial support for special field trips, student assembly programs, classroom materials and vocal music program. Morse Elementary School employs a library aide, reading specialist, psychologist and speech pathologist. The school has an educational affiliation with Last Chapter Books. The elementary school is located in Overland Park, Kan.
