The LaSalle County Nursing Home is owned and operated by the LaSalle County, governed by the LaSalle County Board and is located in Ottawa, Ill. It is a 100-bed facility that provides nursing care to meet the nutritional, social, psychosocial, activity and rehabilitation needs of residents. Its environmental service department consists of housekeeping, custodians and personal launderers and maintains cleanliness of the nursing home, processes linens and personal clothing. It offers rehabilitation services by certified rehabilitation registered nurses and certified rehabilitation aides under the direction of nursing and licensed consultants in physical, occupational, audiology and speech therapies. Its activity department offers a variety of programs, including exercise, current events, parties, crafts, religious activities, bingo, bus trips, and educational and musical programs.
