I called Immediate Medical Care MD at 10 PM to see if they could take me in to be treated for a urine infection. They first asked me what type of insurance I had and told me that it would probably be a charge for the visit. I gave them the name of my insurance company and they told me that I would have to pay from $225 to start plus the added amount depending what medical assistance I would need. For the record my insurance is UnitedHealthcare and it is accepted everywhere!!!!but even if they didn’t, their attitude was “ money first and health services second”.
I hope no one has to go through the same experience!!!! Total disregard for human suffering!!! SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!
