Waiting for the clinic to request a Pre-Authorization for a medication shouldn't take over a month to get. Staff complained there's too much paper work to request a pre-authorization. Guess what...it does take over a month when you have inept staff that doesn't fill out the paper work correctly because they are lazy. Then submits incomplete forms. Then the staff needs to fill out paper work completely the second or third try...no wonder why they think insurance paper work takes a long time. Fill out the forms completely the first time.

I have been with this clinic since I was 5 years old, so I have now been their patient for 50 years. I have seen a complete staff change. There is not one person at this clinic who knows me. I understand they see thousands, but so do I in my business and I manage to know my clients. There is a form regarding possible issues you may have that you have to fill out at every visit. The point is to be sure the nurse and/or doctor of the day are reviewing with you. Not once has either EVER done so. I stay only because the amount of paperwork to change is so completely overwhelming and I have no faith that it would be different anywhere else in the medical profession. Such a personalized service and yet completely impersonally delivered. You're late for your appt because of horrific traffic or weather - oh, too bad, gave your slot away. Oh we double-booked you and you took off work to be here at this time, sorry. Reschedule. Oh, you've been waiting for an hour now, the doctor is running behind, he/she will get to you. The worst customer service etiquette is completely tolerated in this profession and the insurance companies. They forget where their paychecks are coming from.

My husband went there for a pain prescription and wanted some advise on how to quit smoking. The "consultation" was less then a minute but now we received a bill for 104 dollars! Best proof again paying a visit to a doctor is not about the patients health it's all about the money....
