This place is a rip-off....we left a piece on consigment and after 60days they sold it and kept all the money. It turns out at the back of the contract is a stipulation that they own it after 60 days, never did they bring our attention to this! We unfortunately lost about $1,000.00. I consider them thieves and will blog this all over the place...

While shopping for furniture at several of the local second hand stores, I came upon this establishment. In front of the store were a trio of large, wild birds, easily over 4 and a half feet tall and 50 lbs. I was not overly concerned but my wife was terrified. When I shooed them a away a man came out and said, 'dont chase away the birds." When I went inside the cashier said, 'don't chase away the birds'. Turns out they encourage the birds to camp out in front of the main entrance! OK for a game preserve, but for a shop?? I explained my wifes fear and I was told was that 95% of the customers arent afraid of them. Must be quite a business that they can afford to lose 5% of their potential customers without a concern. We left then. I went to some other shops, found what I was looking for and will not be returning to House of Lords. If they can disregard their customers concerns before they have your money I would hate to see how they would treat you after they have your money.
