Founded more than 80 years ago, Viskase Corporation is a worldwide leader in the supply of cellulose, fibrous and plastic casings. The company targets processors of hot dogs, sausages, lunchmeats, hams and other processed meat and poultry products worldwide for its products and services. Viskase s flagship product is its proprietary NOJAX casing used for the production of small diameter processed meats. Additional products include fibrous casings, large cellulose casings, Visflex and Vixmax polyamide casings, SCOTnet polyester elastic nettings and Membra-Cel hydrophilic membranes made of regenerated cellulose. The company has sales offices throughout Asia, Europe, Latin America, South America and North America. Viskase Corporation maintains its corporate headquarters in Darien, Ill., and has manufacturing operations in France, Mexico, Brazil, Tennessee and Indiana, including a facility in Osceola, Ark.
