I visit this restaurant any chance I get. The staff is extremely pleasant and takes to my children very well. The portion sizes are great, always leaving enough for lunch the next day. And the types of food served, well, I don't feel they can be matched anywhere in the county.As for a couple of the previous reviews, any type of meat, is going to be less cooked the further into the center you get...and yes, sometimes people do have off-days (just unfortunate when we are on the receiving end ;)...but if you would give them a second chance with an open mind, I think you might probably have one of the best meals around.

Will never dine there again the waitress knocked over my husband's beer into my lap she did say sorry but did not offer any napkins or give my husband another beer , we waited a very long time for our food to come out as I sat there soaking wet from the beer I was also pregnant at the time which made it even more uncomfortable being all wet .never again!!!

Was in on 4/24/09 and it was my first time and last time. I live in the area and my wife and I celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary and I had a terrible experience. Food came out wrong, they expected my wife to eat while I watched, they did take her food back into the kitchen. Whne my ribeye came back the part I started to eat was medium and when I got to the middle it started to turn medium rare to rare. It also seemed like it was cooked more on one side as even the medium part seem to be more towards rare on one side. I was told sorry for the problem but nothing else. My wife said that the owner usually comes around and asks how everything is and we where told the he is the one that was cooking. If the food came to a table wrong and the owner was cooking I would think that he would at least come out to see how everything turned out or the waiter would at least make sure that he would come and see if everything was fine. Unfornautely we used a coupon and had to leave 18% tip.

Highly recommend for food, relaxation, libations, and atmosphere. My husband and I have visited this restaurant on several occasions; we can count on the consistent,pleasant staff and delicious food.You will not be disappointed. Menu is American gourmet with something for everyone. Bring your children, too.
