I needed a new dr., and especially wanted one who would help with my chronic pain issues, which is hard to find in this day and age with the witch hunt on opiates. Having had a back and a neck operation already, I didn't want to have a dr. who would be gung-ho on another operation. I was sent to a dr. in this E.M.M.C. Orono Family Medicine practice by my substance abuse councelor, from a facility that has since gone out of business, and am presently seeing an M.D. who is keeping me at the pain management level of hurting badly, but not quite screaming most of the time. Although that is the case some of the time. My dr., of course, has not seen me when that was the case. I am a peculiar case. My legs feel like they're burning, as if from a cigarette sometimes, as do my arms. My arms, especially my left arm (thank God) - I'm right handed - feel extreme muscular pain. My back, and my neck almost always hurt, but it's my arm that's been hurting bad as of late. Goodbye. TTYL.

I wanted a DO, not an MD, but was unhappy with another DO I was seeing at the office she was distant at best, cold at worst. I had to see /Dr. Evans one day b/c the other DO was out. I changed doctors immediately. Dr. Evans exudes caring. She respects that I am the boss and that I want a Dr's advice, not their prejudices or judgments. Dr. Evans has it all!!!
