- Skin CancerI was very nervous since I had reporting this mole to MD over many years but was reassured that it was okay. It was only after visiting a friend with a history of 4 Melanomas over 50 years encouraged me to have a different specific 'mole' looked at, that I made an appointment with the MD but saw his PA instead who immediately made the referral to Healthy Skin Dermatology. Four moles were removed in the office painlessly and sent for biopsies. One came back as a superficial melanoma. I now understand that an 'innocent' mole in the past can become a melanoma and not to take them lightly.
