General Info

Usman Hashmi, MD, FACC, is board certified in interventional cardiology, cardiology, nuclear cardiology and internal medicine. He grew up in Buffalo, NY, and received his medical degree from American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in St. Maarten. Dr. Hashmi completed his internal medicine, cardiology and advanced interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular training at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit where he was named Chief Medical Resident and Chief Cardiology Fellow. His primary focus is on comprehensive and compassionate patient-centered care emphasizing a unified team approach with the patient, their family and all health care providers. Dr. Hashmi is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
