Rushang Patel, MD, completed fellowships in bone marrow transplant at Temple University and in hematology and oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center, one of only 21 prestigious National Comprehensive Cancer Networks (NCCN) in the country. Board certified in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology, Dr. Patel brings a wealth of clinical knowledge and in-depth research experience to both the patient and the practice, having worked on projects for the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF), Alembic Pharmaceuticals and Sanofi-Aventis, as well as having conducted studies focused on the mechanisms of cancer formation due to toxic chemicals and identifying new targets for designing cancer drugs.
