I had issues with this place also. Pollo Tropical at the Millenia Blvd. The chicken was burned and dried and not very tasteful. I had black bean soup also, not enough beans, just a lot of water. Do not waste your time and money. My friends had bad experience with the place also and warned me about it, but I just wanted to give it a try. I won't do it again.

We ordered a take out family meal and spoke with a Miguel. He repeated the order back to make sure it was what I was ordering. While at home and ready to serve the food, I could not believe what I saw, the chicken was burned and didn't look appetizing, it was very dried and not very tasteful. The rice bowls and beans were only enough for two people. The black beans bowl was watery and a few beans at the bottom. The supposedly soup bowl had black raw plantains inside and tasted horrible and had to throw it out. We needless to say that most of the food was thrown in the trash. I called the restaurant three times and they did not pick up the phone. Apparently they recognized my number and knew that I was not to happy with the food and their service. I do not recommend this place to anyone at all. Poor service and horrible food .
