MtronPTI began as a manufacturer of quartz crystals to the commercial and two-way radio markets in 1965. A merger in 2004 by M-tron Industries and Piezo Technology formed MtronPTI. The company has more than 40 years experience designing, manufacturing and marketing crystal based frequency control products. Its products are used in several applications within the communications industry, including computers and telephone network switches, modems, wireless transmitters/receivers, repeaters, data receivers, line interface devices and base station controllers. MtronPTI is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lynch Corporation with its corporate headquarters in Yankton, S.D., and an office in Orlando, Fla.
