Did not get a permit to build their shed on my property. Will not follow through and get the permit. Now I'm facing fines. Empty promises from owner.Bought a shed on 8/5/2016 that had to be built on sight. We were told that they would get all the permits to build, but they, the permits, would be very expensive. Unless we had nosey neighbors, let's save all that money and proceed right away. Of coarse a complaint was filed about our shed. We received a letter from the county explaining the violation. We contacted Eric, the seller, and explained the situation. It has been 3 months now with promises that they would have the permit. I have been working with code enforcement who has contacted Eric as well. Still no results. We had this shed built because my family has Muscular Dystrophy. My mother, who is bed confined, lost their house and have to move in with me. I am also in a wheelchair. All her belonging that they can keep are to go into that shed. We are running out of time and need to move items in there but don't know what is going to happen without the required permit. We are disabled and have a very limited income. We cannot afford all the fines. The stress from this is very hard to handle with everything else going on. My mother is ill and been in and out of the hospital.Eric at Certified Building Systems. You need to be a man and do the right thing. Quit with the empty promises and take care of this. You are taking advantage of the elderly, and the disabled. Your company should be getting fined for your business practices and misleading sales tactics.
