Refinishing- You can trust that when you bring us a beloved family heirloom, prized antique, or modern day furniture for refinishing, we will do the best job possible to restore it to it's original beauty. Repair- Rest assured that when you bring us a piece of furniture for repair that we will do our utmost to restore it for you. We can fix damaged or loose spindles, missing or bubbled veneer, wobbly or broken chair legs and backs, chewed or scratched wood. Upholstery- When you bring us a piece of furniture to be upholstered you can have the peace of mind that it will be of the highest calibre workmanship available. Caning- This is a specialty job that requires old world craftsmanship and we are up to the task! There are several forms of caning that we do including hand caning, inserts, rushing, and woven materials. Flo rals- One of the reasons the Apple Core is such a feast for the eyes is that it's filled with wonderful florals such as wreaths and garlands for every season, potted florals in interesting containers, and loose stems.

I love apple core ! I had my old rocking chair recaned perfect! It was a great job! I have bought a few items and found fair pricing and the customer service excellent I am planning to go there today I’m from New York and sometimes critical but I have nothing but praise for apple core!

Apparently this store doesn't follow this little customer service.
I recently visited the store to look for special valentines cards. i was told that they don't sell valentine cards and that if I wanted them ---the drugstores have rows and rows of them! This was a very insulting comment AND it was repeated twice! Of course, I am aware of the commercialism of Valentines Day. Hearts are in your face at every opportunity !
Well I am not a happy customer and I certainly WILL NOT be returning! They really don't deserve a one star.,... maybe a MINUS ONE ?
I HAD APPLE CORE REFINISH MY HENDERDON SOLID WALNUT BEDROOM FURNITURE IN DEC. 2007 AND PAID $2762.50. I CONTACTED THEM JULY 2009 WITH A PROBLEM WITH THE FINISH COMING UP EXPOSING THE WOOD IN THREE SPOTS ON THE HEADBOARD SURFACE, THE OWNER SAID THAT THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO ABOUT THIS PROBLEM AND INSTRUCTED ME TO FIX THE PROBLEM MYSELF.
I HAVE DUSTED THE FURNITURE FOR THE LAST YEAR AND A HALF WITH A SOFT WOOD CLOTH WITHOUT ANY WOOD CLEANER OR POLISH; WHICH WERE THE EXACT CARE INSTRUCTIONS FROM APPLE CORE.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND APPLE CORE TO ANYONE THAT WANTS A PROFESSIONAL JOB DONE WITH A PROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE.

We offer a variety of quality services including refinishing, upholstery, caning, and furniture repair to the folks in the Orlando area. We have developed a large and loyal customer base. Our customers are more than satisfied with the excellent customer service that we provide. It is unfortunate that the customer that wrote the review was unhappy with the solution we offered. We suggested a visit to examine the trouble areas at which time the customer told us she had someone else coming to look at the furniture. We asked her to please let us know the outcome of this visit. We never heard back from her. It's difficult to say what happened to her headboard but it has been almost two years since the job was completed. We use only the finest materials and the most up to date equipment. We firmly believe that a happy, satisfied customer is a repeat customer and that makes us happy!
