Dr. Forrest is one of the leading dentists treating some of South Florida's most challenging cases. Patient loyalty is due to his extensive training, attention to detail and artistic flair to creating healthy, beautiful smiles. Dr. Forrest is a specialist in Periodontics, he has been practicing dentistry for 15 years. He completed 2 Periodontics externships, the first at New York University and the latter at Harvard University. He completed his externship in Anesthesiology at the VA Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida and completed his three year specialty training in Periodontics and Implant Surgery at the University of Florida, Shands Hospital. During that time, he also completed his Masters Degree with a focus on Oral Immunology. His heritage in the dental profession spans three generations. Presently, Dr. Forrest has a teaching appointment as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Florida. To date, Dr. Forrest has placed more that 7,000 dental implants. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, Florida Society of Dental Anesthesiology, Florida Association of Periodontists and the Memorial Hospital.
